Helix Pcd Drills
The CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastics) processes are becoming more and more frequent in the aerospace and automotive industries. These materials are difficult to work because they are very tough and abrasive. Other widespread problems in the drilling of these materials are the delamination and the presence of fibers not cut especially at the exit of the hole, this happens when the tool is worn and is no longer able to cut the fibers, tearing them, thus compromising the subsequent assembly operations of the component.
To overcome these problems, Diaber has introduced a new range of helical PCD drills with geometries and cutting angles specifically designed to perform perfect drilling without delamination, guaranteeing a long service life and a constant hole quality.
Integral bits with a diameter of 0.8 mm are produced to rise according to the client's request.
